What counts as a receptionist minute?
Each minute Forge spends on a call with a caller; every call counts at least one minute. Typed website chats, texts, and the missed-call text-back don't use minutes.
When does texting start?
US carriers require every business that texts customers to be registered. We register you under our carrier-approved account during setup; approval usually takes a few days, up to two weeks. Calls work from day one; texts the receptionist would have sent are kept and go out when texting turns on. The registration fees are ours.
Are calls recorded?
No. Calls are transcribed, not recorded, and callers hear that at the start of every call. You see the transcript and a summary for 90 days.
What's in a module?
A module is a part of Forge you switch on: the receptionist, calendar booking, Forge on the truck, the weather and demand outlook. Your plan lists the ones included. We turn them on with you, and you can ask for one any time.
Can we try it first?
Yes. We're taking five Colorado businesses as founding partners, HVAC and home services first: we set everything up with you, in person, and the first 30 days are free. If you stay, it's $149 a month (Growth is normally $199), locked for 12 months; cancel anytime. In return we ask for a short weekly check-in and, if it works for you, a testimonial.
Where does Forge book appointments?
On your Google or Outlook calendar, within the days and hours you set, in open slots only. Each booking shows up on your calendar with the customer's name, number, and what they need, and you get a text. If you schedule in Housecall Pro or Jobber instead, tell us: connecting those is next on our list.
What happens to our business data?
It stays yours. We sign an NDA with you before we use any of it, it's used only to deliver the work we agree on, and we don't use it to train AI models. You can delete it any time. Read how we handle data.
